Through a process of layering I create visual depth in order to signify the multifaceted nature of daily experience. Using found materials that are imbued with a history of their own, chaos is digested through a process of chance. Each work is interrelated as they are made around each other, immersed within the activity of the studio. Formal moments of clarity are extracted from large chaotic compositions, created unconsciously overtime. Individual pieces are therefore discovered by observing the remnants of my bodily movement within space. Through this process, motion is suggested through static imagery. By placing value on what is unfinished and imperfect, I endeavour to maintain a sense of honesty.
