Mim Fluhrer is a Sydney based artist, having completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts at The National Art School (Darlinghurst) in 2009.

Her works are continued discussions between self and nature, emanating from her own adventures and travels into the great outdoors.

These works are painted from a recent trip to Western Australia during the season of the desert wildflowers. Colour, space, vastness, emptiness, the sublime, are all themes she explores in her paintings.

Painting on raw hessian and to be hung unframed, the tactile nature and materiality of her artworks continue this discussion of space and form, the dialogue between self and nature.

Mim Fluhrer has exhibited in numerous group shows, solo shows with artwork held in private collections both in Australia and abroad.
